In my previous post “What every successful business should have” I talked about every successful business has a monopoly.
Now when I say monopoly I’m not talking about the evil kind of Wal-Mart or Microsoft type monopoly, but the type of monopoly where you will walk three blocks to get something to eat from a specific restaurant because of their service, and/or how they make it.
Now, one of the easiest ways to build a monopoly (a tiny profitable monopoly) in this connection economy is to be the center of connections. Connections are so valuable to people compared to stuff.
We went through eighty years of stuff (the industrial economy) and now the door is wide open for people who want to make connections for a living.
