Today I want to talk about blogging. If you blog or video blog, too many people are spending too much time on content. Content is very important, but at the end of the day if you have the skills to get 100,000 people in your store, but you don’t know how to sell to them and you sell nothing, then you accomplish nothing.
So to me there is not enough importance put on marketing and community for bloggers. Ever since I heard this I use this saying “Content is king, but marketing is the queen and the queen runs the house.”
So as a blogger myself I spend 30 minutes to 1 hour a day on content max. I sit down write it out or record it like this video above and ship it. And the rest of my time is spent creating context, marketing, business meeting, phone calls, emailing, radio interviews, commenting on other blogs, building my business and just pure interaction with the community.
