There is this notion among experts and companies that “technology” wins, and this is especially prevalent on Q & A forums and among tech companies. But what I want to really sell you on, is not that “technology wins”, because I don’t think it does. I think what technology does is “Gives you a shot at marketing” and if you don’t buy into that, then I believe that your company sooner-rather-than-later is going to fail.
This is a picture of Coca-Cola, Nestle’s Raspberry Tea, and Minute Maid Lemonade and if you look closely on the Minute Maid it says, “contains 0% juice”. Now the thing is, Minute Maid has no juice, but I’m sure your company does. So the challenge isn’t do you have enough juice, because you do, the challenge is what are you going to do with it? How are you going to market it? Because if you market the juice properly you’ll end up like minute maid, a success story.
